Client Services

The Client Services team at New Salmiya Medical Laboratory is available 9 am - 9 pm Monday through Friday to respond to client inquiries. Client Services is also staffed Friday and Saturday shift to assist clients. Technical staff is available to respond to client needs during the hours Client Services is not staffed. The entire team at New Salmiya Lab Medical Laboratory team is dedicated to assisting clients with all inquiries and resolving any issues.

Client Services, working with Central Specimen Processing, Lab Informatics Services, Finance, Management, Logistics and the Testing departments, strives for excellent communication with our clients. Our goal is to assure complete satisfaction for each client in all areas of laboratory testing.

Billing

New Salmiya Medical Laboratory offers a varied billing program to meet our client’s needs. The client account will be billed directly for all testing unless special arrangements to bill third parties have been approved by our Finance Department. If approved for third party billing, all required information must be included with the test or the test charges will be billed to the client account.

Due to legislation prohibiting the practice, we cannot accommodate client requests for courtesy service.

Clients will be billed on a bi-monthly basis. The itemized invoice will include date of service, patient name, medical record number, test name, test number, CPT code, and fee. A change from client account to third party billing may be requested within 30 days of the invoice date. After 30 days, no adjustments will be made and the client will be responsible for the invoice amount. Invoice payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date. A late payment charge will be applied to the account, and will continue to accrue until the invoice is paid. Non-contract fees are subject to change without notice. Information Systems

The Information Systems (I.S.) team at New Salmiya Medical Laboratory maybe reached from 9 am – 9 pm during the week for client support. The I.S. team is also on-call after normal business hours and during weekends for emergency troubleshooting and support. Please note the team email will only be monitored during normal business hours.

Central Specimen Processing Services

The Central Specimen Processing Service at New Salmiya Medical Laboratory is designed to efficiently and accurately distribute a large volume of incoming samples from all of our clients. The department continues to improve sample and patient safety by implementing new workstations, including an automated specimen sorter, that decrease the number of lost specimens and increase productivity.

Courier Services

Courier Services are available throughout the New Salmiya Medical Laboratory service area. We provide local courier services with same day delivery, and we provide couriers at out-of-state locations to transport specimens to airports or Aramex for same day or overnight shipment to New Salmiya Lab.

It is the goal of New Salmiya Medical Laboratory to ensure all samples are delivered to our laboratory as safely and efficiently as possible. Our couriers make every effort to deliver samples at the correct temperature, and without breakage or leakage. Couriers comply with all applicable shipping regulations, and endeavor to transport sample in the shortest time possible.
